an ongoing creative playdate with my friend Samantha Joh.
FLOWER DELIVERY (previously Brain Day) is an experiment in creating a collaborative workflow.
Our conversations + work tends to follow themes of gardening, creativity in digital spaces, and archiving. Some of our recent work includes an immersive installation in Washburn Gallery, a zine, and a shoot for Align, the University of Oregon’s arts & culture magazine.

FLOWER DELIVERY: THE INSTALLATION
In May 2024 we did an installation in Washburne Gallery. The installation featured four projected screens, with an 11-minute video that explored archival, gardening, and our own process. Guests lounged on cushions and rugs and could adjust the mirrors to play with reflections. Head to our instagram to see some BTS!

On an overcast weekend in early March, Samantha and I sat down to finally gather together some of our recent photos into a zine. The zine reflects parts of our thinking and collaborative process, fragments of emails we have sent to each other, and our exploration of light + color in our shoots. issuu link here (it is split into two parts)
